Running has been such a journey for me and my plan on this page is to use it as a resource page. The blog is still in construction mode but I am thinking I would like to add my top running books, my favorites places I have raced, some key workouts that have helped me become stronger as a runner, and specific yoga poses and sequences designed to help runners stay injury free.
I have noticed that long distance runners (especially women) tend to end up with tight hamstrings, tight psoas muscles, improper hip alignment and low back pain. Core specific yoga poses as well as standing sequences aimed at building proper alignment in the body, followed by stretches that keep the hips and hamstrings adequately flexible will not only keep an athlete injury free but will also help them run faster and healthier. Please feel free to send me comments and questions in regards to this page. I would like to offer information based off of readers interests and requests.
