We are in the middle of moving but I couldn’t pass up my desire to write a post. I have done quite a bit of yoga over the past few days. Perspective is everything and always gives me an opportunity to check in with what is important and authentic.
I also wanted to share some of my favorite things over the past few weeks. It is a fairly balanced blend of old favs with new.
Let’s start with my beautiful new Brooks Pure Cadence shoes. I have worn Brooks for more than a few years now and the Pure Cadence are spectacular for me. I do a ton of stroller running and have narrow feet with high arches. These give me a ton of support while still feeling light. I will be racing with them next week and pretty darn excited.
As many of you know I am in the middle of training to be a Health Coach through the Institute of Integrative Nutrition and I also have a toddler with me 99 percent of the time. Therefore, often my studying happens during nap time in the car. Do what you gotta do😎And below are just some quick snaps of favorite foods lately. The sauerkraut is out of this world. Eric brought it home one night and we love it. Goes easily with any greens and rice or quinoa. A great way to add fermented foods into your diet.
The honey is amazing. I got this as a gift from my parents in law and they know me well. I have been adding a little honey to Lucas’s toast lately.
Mushrooms and garbanzo beans never get old. I like any type of mushroom and towards the end of the week, when I run out of fresh mushrooms, the 365 frozen organic mushrooms are really good. It is a mix of different types and they are very flavorful. I have added them to soups and stirfry’s.
I also picked up this very large bag of organic broccoli from Costco the other day. I go to Costco pretty seldom but when I do, I usually find some gems. It is really nice to have some quality frozen veggies. I do almost all home cooking so at the end of the week, having extra stuff like frozen veggies helps me out. And great with a toddler.
