I am a passionate yogini and runner sharing my adventures of raising a son while living a simple and healthy lifestyle.

Inspired to Share

“The good life is one inspired by love and guided by knowledge”-Bertrand Russell

I began studying this week with IIN, also known as The Institute of Integrated Nutrition. I have studied quite a bit of nutrition in my life especially revolving around my yoga trainings but I feel this is a wonderful next step in learning more information about the holistic aspects of health and how I can implement them into my life as a mother and wife as well as becoming a health coach for the community surrounding me.

Finding balance as a mother and woman in general has always been a challenge for me. I can be intense and super engaged and sometimes go to the extreme. My intention for this year is to establish a foundation and a bigger tool box of information and techniques to guide me in my nutrition, spiritual practice, physical activity, motherhood and every day life as a woman.

I have always learned best by sharing with others and my son is at a stage where he soaks up EVERYTHING he sees. It is important to me to be growing with him and feel this is a great opportunity for us to learn together and then be able to share it with other families.

I am excited, a little nervous and ready. I went for three swims this week because it just felt so perfect for the start of the program. Diving in, I felt a bit stronger each day and my body was more open yesterday. Today is a stroller run😍

Any other mother or father find it a challenge sometimes to find balance? And in what area of your life do you feel most imbalanced in?
